Safe H2O provides unique and innovative solutions for cleaning water tanks and the water in them.
Safe H2O’s mobile filtration and water cleaning service are one of a kind in New Zealand so it was important to ensure that those who had a demand for tank cleaning services were made aware of Safe H2O’s service and the many benefits it has.
The tank cleaning methods Safe H2O use are highly effective so it was only appropriate we put together a highly effective search advertising campaign to match. Safe H2O began running Google Ads with Depiction Studios in May 2018 and have since received 2,500 leads to their website from users searching for related keywords.
Paid traffic from Google Ad campaigns now accounts for 46.1% traffic on Safe H2O’s website and has a higher conversion rate than organic traffic and traffic from social or other channels.

Safe H2O gains search visibility with targeted Google Ads
Google Ads helped Safe H2O reach potential customers with relevant information in the moments they were searching. The benefits of paid search are immediate and measurable.
With Google Ads, Safe H2O has achieved a 57% top of page rate (ads shown above organic search results) and a 28.3% absolute top of the page for keyword searches. Safe H2O’s campaigns also had the highest ad impression share among competitors in the industry.
Even users who don’t click on ads are exposed to the brand and with repeated searches and brand exposure this can result in future leads and customers.

When Safe H2O branched into confined space services earlier this year, a new Google Ad campaign for this service was a great way to raise awareness and connect with potential customers searching for this service.
The confined spaces campaign achieved 101 clicks within the first month of running, a great start for generating leads and attracting customers to this new part of the business.
Introducing a dynamic search ad group provided Safe H2O with an even higher return with higher click-through rates and an average CPC only ⅓ of the cost of its standard ad counterparts.
Dynamic search ads index Safe H2O’s website to determine which searches to show ads for. If a search was relevant to the content on the site, Google automatically created an ad to enter into the auction.
Google Ads targeting abilities help direct where the ad budget is spent, allowing Safe H2O to target specified areas where there is likely to be the biggest demand for tank cleaning and confined space services.
This is achieved by selecting regions to target or selecting areas with a radius of a chosen distance around specific towns and cities which was our approach with Safe H2O.
When Safe H2O moved towards a licensing model, we split the campaign into their respective regions Manawatu, Whanganui and Waikato. At the campaign level, budget, keywords, location targeting and ad copy can are tailored to best target search terms and queries of potential customers.
