You have the business cards, the perfectly designed Facebook header and the passion to create - but now what?
Finding your voice can be a lot harder than you think, especially if you're aiming for a profitable business.
Knowing your brand and audience is vital to finding your voice and telling your story. If you're unsure what your brand represents or wants to represent than it might be difficult to tell your story.
Knowing your audience or customers will help you understand what you need to give them.
Explore your demographic or most engaging posts. What got your audience interested? What have they responded to? If you're willing to engage with your audience or customers directly, start a poll or a send out an email that gives people the opportunity to provide feedback.
Consistency is a must when trying to keep you customers and audience engaged. This is certainly applicable when telling your story too. Most stories don’t end after one chapter. They continue for however long the author wants the story to go for or how long you want the story to go for.
Authenticity can also be key to telling your story and establishing a good relationship between the brand and the consumer.
